... if Nerida knew I'd come home to her faster by compromising my ideals, she'd never look at me the same way again. And if she didn't know ...
Well, I could never look at myself the same way again.
I worry about getting home to see my children so dearly, but what is a father for, if not to provide an example of what his children should be? If I have any doubts, any at all, about this march, I need to do something about them. As much as I can. At least until they are assuaged.
I need to do what's right.
